    Notifications, event emails and attendance reminders share this monthly allowance. Sending an event email to 50 selected members uses 50 credits, including members who have opted out. The allowance resets on the first day of each month (UTC).

  • Send or schedule event emails

    Email selected members about an event, filtered by attendance response or member group. Up to 200 recipients per send and five sends per day, using your monthly email allowance.

Frequently asked questions

Is Choir Central free to use?

Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited members, rehearsal and concert events, member replies, groups, public event pages and document sharing, with 1 GB of file storage. You can upgrade to Pro when your choir needs music, programmes and more communication tools.

Do we pay for each choir member?

No. Both plans include unlimited members. If you choose Pro, you pay one subscription for your choir, regardless of how many singers join. See the pricing section above for the current price.

Do our members need to download an app?

No download is needed. Members use Choir Central in a web browser on their phone, tablet or computer to view events, reply and find shared choir materials.

How do we get our choir started?

Create an account, set up your choir and invite your members by email. Add your next rehearsal or concert so members have an event to respond to. You can start with a few members before inviting the rest of the choir.

Can we see who’s coming to rehearsals and concerts?

Yes. Members can reply going, maybe or not going, and you can see who hasn’t replied. With Pro, you can also set up automated reminders to help collect responses before the event.

Can we keep our choir’s music and rehearsal resources together?

Yes. With Pro, you can organise your repertoire and add scores, recordings and useful links to each piece. Only upload files you have permission to share with your choir; you can also link to resources on the publisher’s or creator’s website. Pro includes 10 GB of file storage across your choir’s uploaded files.

Can we build concert programmes?

Yes. With Pro, you can arrange music into a running order, organise sections and add notes, intervals and other items such as readings. You can then export your programme as a PDF.
